Our new model, the Zebop™ ~ Cedric West (AT401) is our Tribute to the legendary Jazz Guitarist, Cedric West. The founder of Cassidy Guitars, Simon Cassidy, was lucky enough to be taught by Cedric in the early 1980s.
The Zebop™ ~ Cedric West is part of our new Archtop range and is influenced by the Brands that Cedric played during the Bebop era during the 40s through to the 60s. It includes Flame Maple Ply body finished in a high gloss Saffron (a nod to Cedric’s Burmese Heritage), Set Maple Neck with a chunky Vintage C profile, Rosewood Fretboard adorned with real Pearl / Abalone Split Block Inlays, and Multiply binding to the Body, Fretboard and Headstock. We’ve added quality Gold hardware and Classic P90 Pickups for that crystal clear and pure Jazz sound of the 1950s.
All of our guitars are designed, inspected and setup in our UK workshop for optimum playability immediately before despatch, so you are guaranteed to be able to play this one out of the box.
We are very pleased to support a number of Charities from our Guitar Sales. In particular we recognise the cost to the environment of our Timber sourcing, Guitar Production and Transportation methods and we are keen to pay our dues, so we decided that the best way to do this was to Partner with Just One Tree from August 2025. We have already planted 250 Trees to reflect Sales since 2013, and we have committed to plant an additional Tree for every Guitar sold in the future.
