Cassidy UK Custom JB1 built for Jonny Rubin aka ”Dr Funk” in 2020 when we were lucky enough to have Jonny as an Endorsed Artist.
Jonny has gone on to bigger and better things including living his dream of living In California. We were sorry to see him go, and we wish him well, but now it’s your chance to own one of the 3 Cassidy Basses he used as an Endorsed Artist.
The UK Custom JB1 has a top spec including Alder Body in Olympic White, Canadian Maple Neck and Fretboard with real Abalone Inlays, Gotoh Tuners and Bridge, Fender Custom Shop 60s Jazz Bass Pickups, Shielded Copper Cavities, CTS Pots, Paper in Oil Capacitor, Switchcraft Jack Socket, and Vintage Waxed Cotton Wiring. A Cassidy Deluxe EBGB1 Gig Bag is also included In the sale.
The Bass is as returned by Jonny with his strings and grime. We can clean it up if you like but left it just in case a devoted fan prefers it all original.
It has been well used as you can see by the number of videos on Youtube and Facebook and has picked up a few cosmetic blemishes along the way as shown in the attached photos.
Nevertheless it plays and sounds great and has a great vintage vibe.
